At Antique ReVisions LLC / WaterProofDog, your gear isn't sitting on a shelf waiting for someone to buy it. Each item is handcrafted and made especially for you and is assembled only after your order is placed and payment is received.
 

Because your gear is made specifically to your order—including your choice of size, color, hardware, and personalization—we don't offer traditional returns or refunds simply because you change your mind or select the wrong option.
 

But we want you to be happy with your gear, so we offer a one-time size exchange on eligible collars purchased through our WaterProofDog website.

One-Time Collar Size Exchange

We understand that sometimes even careful measuring doesn't result in the perfect fit. Collars purchased through the WaterProofDog website are eligible for one size exchange.
 

Please contact us within 7 days of the posted delivery date if your collar doesn't fit.
 

To qualify:

• Exchange must be for the same collar style in a different size.

• Personalized collars ARE eligible.

• Only one size exchange per collar.

• Original collar must be new, unused, unaltered, clean, and resalable, with no pet hair, dirt, odors, or other signs of use.

• Buyer is responsible for return shipping cost to WaterProofDog.

• Original collar must be returned before the replacement is made.
   

The exchange is for size only. Changes to style, design, color, hardware, personalization, or other specifications are considered a new order.
 

Please contact us before sending anything back. We'll provide return instructions.
 

Website Orders vs. Special Custom Projects

This policy applies only to products purchased directly through the WaterProofDog website.
 

We occasionally create completely custom gear that isn't offered on our website. These projects are discussed and designed directly with the customer and may be invoiced separately.
 

Special custom projects and separately invoiced orders are not covered by this website return policy. Any return or exchange arrangements for those projects will be discussed and agreed upon before the project is made.
 

If There's a Problem With Your Order

We stand behind the gear we make.
 

If you believe your item has a material defect, workmanship problem, or an error on our part, please contact us within 14 days of the posted delivery date. We'll review the issue and determine a reasonable solution, which may include a repair, replacement, remake, store credit, or refund.
 

If we made the mistake, we'll do our best to make it right. We may ask you to provide photos of the item or the issue so we can better understand the problem and determine the best way to help.
 

Gear Care & Regular Inspection

The buyer is responsible for properly maintaining and regularly inspecting their dog's gear. Dog gear may be exposed to pulling, dirt, water, chewing, abrasion, and everyday wear, so regular inspection is important for safe use.
 

Before each use, check for wear, damage, fraying, hardware damage, or anything else that could affect strength or safety. If you find significant damage or wear, discontinue use and replace the item as needed.
 

BioThane® consists of a waterproof coating bonded to a webbing core. The webbing provides the structural strength, while the coating provides waterproof and easy-clean properties. Damage or wear to the coating may affect waterproofing, but if the underlying webbing remains intact, it may retain its original strength. If the interior webbing is cut, torn, frayed, separated, or otherwise damaged, discontinue use immediately.
 

For products with screws or modular components, regularly check that all screws remain securely tightened. We tighten screws securely during manufacturing and may use additional measures to help prevent loosening. However, screws may occasionally loosen over time with normal use and vibration.
 

Loose screws are considered normal maintenance, not a manufacturing defect. Tight or difficult-to-remove screws are also not considered a defect and may require appropriate tools or additional effort.
 

If you're ever unsure whether your gear is safe to continue using, stop using it and contact us.
 

What Isn't Covered

Normal wear and tear, failure to properly maintain or inspect the gear, misuse, improper use, or pet chewing/damage are not considered manufacturing defects and are not covered by this policy.
 

Our products are designed to be strong and durable, but even the toughest gear has limits—and unfortunately, we haven't figured out how to make our gear completely dog-proof! 😉
