WHO ARE WE
I may say “we,” but it’s mostly just me—a one-woman business based in Southern Pennsylvania, supported by family, friends, and a few furry helpers. From day one, my goal has been simple: create attractive, high-quality, dependable waterproof BioThane dog gear built for real life.
Today, my waterproof BioThane dog gear is trusted by dog owners and professionals around the world—from police K9s and FEMA search and rescue teams to arson dogs, service dogs, crisis support canines, explosive detection dogs, tracking dogs, facility dogs, Schutzhund (IGP) protection dogs, dock diving dogs, herding and farm dogs, and countless family pets.
Each piece is thoughtfully designed with both form and function in mind—offering durability, easy cleaning, and long-lasting performance. I take pride in crafting waterproof BioThane dog gear with care, purpose, and attention to detail—because your dog deserves gear you can rely on every day.

HOW WPD CAME TO BE
After a career as a police officer—and now working daily with dogs—I learned the right gear isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity. When you depend on equipment in all conditions, there’s no room for failure.
WaterProofDog comes from that mindset. I wanted high-quality gear I could trust—gear that holds up to real life, with a deliberate attention to detail in every aspect. Dogs get dirty, they get wet, and their gear should keep up without making your life harder.
Each piece is hand-crafted with care, built for durability and simplicity: waterproof, odor-resistant, and finished with strong, rust-resistant hardware—all in a clean, attractive design.
This is my ReVision of yesterday’s dog gear—shaped by experience and made to last.
Because your dog’s gear should be something you can count on without a second thought.
THE JOURNEY
Life can feel like a roller coaster—it just helps to have a dog seatbelt.
After a long career in law enforcement, a line-of-duty injury brought that chapter to a close. With encouragement from my parents, I started Antique ReVisions LLC, selling antiques locally and online. Since then, life has brought its share of challenges—and plenty of “ReVisions.” Through it all, I’ve learned to adapt, supported by family, friends and loyal dogs.
In 2016, I adopted Clyde from Home at Last Dog Rescue. After a difficult start in life, he quickly became much more than a pet. Through training, we became a certified therapy dog team—but along the way, I realized I was facing PTSD, along with lasting physical effects from my injury. With time, patience, and a lot of teamwork, Clyde became my Service Dog. Together, life is not only more manageable, but more meaningful.
We’ve been fortunate to learn from and be supported by many incredible people, and we’re deeply grateful. Today, we share our journey to help educate others about PTSD, Service Dogs, and Therapy Dogs. We’re honored to work with veterans, first responders, and other service dog teams, and to support our community through volunteering, education, connection, and care.
Life is full of ReVisions—and we’re grateful for wherever the ride takes us next.
NEWS & UPDATES
September 11, 2019
"HERE'S JOHNNY!" Please join us in welcoming the newest member of our team. Johnny was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Mississippi by Last Chance Animal Rescue, and brought north to find a home. He found our home. He is about 7 months old and a very smart, loving, outgoing guy, with a silly side. Clyde & I both adore him. We believe his breed to be a Plott Hound. This little guy is training to help with all the same special things that Clyde does. Thus far, he's proving that he too is capable of great things.
