We lovingly hand-make our items to order in the USA and use genuine BioThane. This leash is waterproof & stinkproof. Ends are heat sealed to maintain waterproof integrity.  All leashes are made in 5/8" width unless otherwise specified. This material has a 1,000 lb. tensile strength per inch. BioThane is made in the USA.
